SESAME



Sesame seeds are an excellent source of sesamin, a lignan which contains a phytoestrogen. Sesamin has been shown to help lower cholesterol, and it may also reduce the body's ability to store fat. Sesame is rich in copper and magnesium, and a good source of molybdenum, selenium and zinc.
